Early Explore Project
This is both an in class and home project, that will begin 1/11. Part one will be completed in class and become homework if not done on time. Part 2 and 3 will be completed at home. Students are learning about early explorers and their reasons for traveling to America. They will be choosing an explorer to research and will begin a 3 part project.
1. Complete graphic organizer for research
2. Create a speech in first person (Please help your children to memorize their speeches before 2/12)
3. Wax Museum: Students will dress up as their explorer and record their speeches in front of a green screen. Students will get to add a background of their choice. These videos will be seen at Open House. Students will be recording Tuesday, February 12 and Wednesday, February 13 in class. Please be sure that your child comes to school with their explorer outfit (These can be put together with items from home.).
